Ben . Rocio 2.23.07

On Friday I had Ben & Rocio's Wedding (her bridals are just below). Let me just say, I LOVED their wedding! They planned so many incredible details and it turned out beautiful. The weather man predicted that Thursday night there would be a huge winter storm...well, he was right! The temple grounds were covered in fluffy white snow and it was amazing! They are such fun people with incredible family and friends :)
Here are some favorites:

This shot really shows what the snow transformed the temple grounds into, I loved it!
This has to be one of the coolest cakes I have seen so far. Rocio said it was 'Jessica Simpson's Cake".

This little flower girl reminds me of Alice in Wonderland:

Nicole's Bridals

Last week I had the opportunity to shoot Nicole's Bridals. It was such a warm day (as opposed to the blizzard I woke up to this morning), the sky was amazing! We started at the Salt Lake Library then headed over to the City Building

The staircase in the library is so beautiful, I love the architecture there:

Look at Nicole's incredible eyes:

Lovely Rocio

A couple days ago I headed out to Wheeler farm to meet Rocio to do her bridals. I was just blown away, she looked perfect! She is such a cute bride and VERY photogenic.

I had this umbrella with us incase of rain. It didn't rain, but we used it and I LOVED it!
My favorite barn there:

Inside the barn the light coming through the windows was incredible:

Thanks again Rocio, can't wait for the wedding!

Daniel & Kim

Daniel and Kim were so much fun! We went up American Fork Canyon in the snow and got some really fun pictures. They were both willing to sit in the snow and get wet which I loved! It made Kim laugh a lot, which made Dan laugh.....etc. I love how emotional their images turned out:

Love Dan's face here:

We hiked up into some trees and I saw this great natural light coming across:

What a beautiful couple :)

Brandon & Tricia

A few weeks ago I shot Brandon & Tricia's engagement session. I love this couple! Tricia was freezing ouside without a jacket but you just can't tell from these pictures. They look so relaxed and adorable! I can't wait for their wedding in March:

Tricia's ring is huge! I love it!

Happy Birthday to ME!

To celebrate my birthday, my boyfriend Logan and I went to my parents house to visit, exchange gifts, and watch sports (my favorite!....seriously). In case some of you don't know, this is Logan :) We have been together for a while now and I am just crazy about him! His future sister-in-law Jan made the delicious cake you see sitting on the table.

My fantastic Mom!
Handsome Daddy!
One of my best friends, Kerstin, took me to lunch today too. We have a tradition of a self portrait every time we get together, and we are such dorks doing it! Thanks for lunch Kerstin!

Bridal Show Booth!

Thanks to everyone who came to see me at the South Towne Expo center this last weekend. I was really happy to meet some potential brides and see some amazing things from other vendors as well. Some of my favorite photographers were there and it was great to see them! Thanks to Dustin Izatt for shooting this picture of my booth for me! I was lame and forgot my camera :)

Dave & Michelle

In early December, I shot Michelle and Dave's wedding. I used to work with Michelle and she is just an incredible girl! She is an engineer which is what I am currently studying. I sure wish that she didn't move to Texas, I could really use her help with all this complicated school!

Here are a few favorites from the wedding:

I loved the warm holiday feeling in the their details:
I captured Dave in deep thought just before the reception was going to start:

I LOVE michelle's ring, nice work Dave!

Congratulations to both of you, I will miss going to lunch! Take care of her Dave :)
