Country Glam - J e s s i c a

I loved this session! Jessica came with her mom and her sister to do her bridal portraits. It was a VERY windy day but we put up with it and shot anyway. My light stand kept wanting to blow over and Jessica's hair was going everywhere, but I think it might have worked in our favor! All of the trees and plants are starting to blossom and I just love it!

b o u d o i r

Last week I got to do my first boudoir/"for his eyes only" session. It was honestly so fun! Kacey and Shelly are soon-to-be sisters in law and wanted to do some fun and flirty pictures for their husbands. We started out in a studio and finished up at Antelope Island.
(Note to photogs: There are more on OSP if you want to see a few more)
The girls had so many cute ideas and themes, I loved it!

Love this next one of Kacey as a gangsta gal:

m a t e r n i t y

I recently had the opportunity to shoot my first maternity session, I just loved it! Kate wanted some different maternity shots rather than the traditional "wal-mart" photo session. Who say's pregnant women aren't sexy?? Kate is absolutely beautiful and such a gorgeous pregnant lady. Congrats to her and her husband Chris on their upcoming arrival!
( a little technical geek talk for fellow photogs - yes, I mistakenly went past my allowed sync speed on the next shot, but I liked how it turned out :)

Keep checking the blog, I intend to keep it updated regularly now that I got my bridal show over with yesterday!

K E R R I & C H A S E

I have been behind on blogging (surprise surprise) lately! Here is a shoot I did a bit ago at Gateway. Kerri and Chase were so much fun! I wanted to ask them to get in the fountain, but they suggested it before I did :)

There was a sunglasses stand, so I told them to find the most outrageous glasses on the stand. I think they followed instruction well:

one. light. workshop.

Seriously, this is a HUGE deal to me! I had no idea how much a single light could change my work, but Zack Arias prooved that theory. This week I attended the One Light Workshop given by Zack Arias in Salt Lake City and it was incredible. You bet I have already ordered my own lighting rig to start using on my own clients!
Zack set up the lighting and we all took turns learning how to expose it correctly and how to use the rig ourselves, I loved the results!
I also got to see some great friends that I haven't seen in a while :)

A little about M.E.

I though I would share a few recent pictures of my life :)

Logan and I have been snowboarding quite a bit this winter, and it is getting to be fantastic weather up there!

These were all taken with my point and shoot camera, which apparently is in need of being replaced

Logan's brother got married last weekend and the wedding was beautiful! I was a guest at a wedding for the first time in FOREVER and didn't even bring my camera. It was great!
