Greg and Staci.

A couple weeks ago I shot this fabulous wedding for Greg and Staci. I just adore Staci's wonderful style and taste! Her dress was to die for and so were all the details of the event. 

It was held at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building and the light that night was to die for! Rare to have nice warm light in the winter...

Here's what I saw.

They opted for a first look before the ceremony so that we could get some killer images in the light. LOVED IT.

The Joe Muscolino band was on hand and OF COURSE did an amazing job as always!

They had a cute carriage come pick them up for their getaway, so fun!

Starting.... Now

Ok, Im starting my 3 times a week blogging starting right now. I was going to change my blog, but then it would be a pain to view my archives..... so Im keeping it right here. 

As you can see on my header there is a devastatingly gorgeous girl on the top right. That is one of the many things I have shot lately. I promise to share more from those shoots!

And yes, I am done with my site!! Just needs to go live now, so Im waiting not-so-patiently.

Almost done...

My website and new blog are almost done!! Hopefully they will be up and going by next week :)

Hello internet world! I hope you are all having a fabulous new year and all of you are encouraged to meet your new goals and resolutions, I know I am! Its always such a great feeling of a 'clean slate' having a new year come. A feeling of light feet, brighter outlook, and lots of ambition. 

I have a lot of things happening this year, especially just in this month of January! I will have a new blog and website up in about 2 or three weeks, so stay tuned for that. A beautiful wedding on the 10th is coming, and a few engagement sessions for upcoming spring weddings. 

Yes, it is a goal of mine to blog at LEAST 3 times a week this year. Especially once I get my new blog up and running!

My great friend Brooke was kind enough to do some Holiday photos of Logan, Bobbi, and I for our Christmas cards. I love how they turned out! This is (believe it or not) the first time we have ever done pictures of us. Haha!

December - Almost a New Year.

Wow, Its December. Where does time go? Seriously, this year has been a complete whirlwind! My wedding season has come to an end and I am enjoying some much needed time off to spend with family, its such a fun time of year.
At the beginning of 2008 I set myself some goals. Some I have met and some...not so much. One of my goals was to blog more often, at least 80% of my shoots. Yeah, that didnt happen! I think I have at least 15 weddings, and over 30 portrait shoots that never got blogged! If you're a client that never got blogged, its not because I dont love you and you know it :)
Another goal I had was to start shooting more than just weddings. It has ALWAYS been a passion of mine to work in editorial photography and makeup. Well, I've started! I am finishing up my classes at Taylor Andrews Academy and I will be adding makeup and hair design to my resume in 2009. I hope to possibly have a new and seperate website for those things.
Of course I will still be primarily shooting weddings though! I love my clients :)
Just fun to have one more thing you love as your job!
I got to do makeup on some models a few weeks ago and it was such an AMAZING experience. If I get some of the photos in my hands I'll have to share!

I have some really exciting things coming up in the next year. A wedding in Cancun, a trip to Las Vegas, my bridal shows, hopefully a new blog, my OWN WEDDING!, some new products, a website update, and some high set goals for myself to achieve. Wish me luck! I'll need it :)

I hope you all have some really fun plans for the holidays, and that you had a great Thanksgiving!
I'll try and post some recent stuff as well as personal pictures of the holidays, thats always fun. I leave to spend Christmas with Logan and his family in a couple weeks, so my studio will be closed from the 20-29th.

Family.

I love this family! Tawni (the one in red) was one of my brides, as well as a model for me a couple of times. She is so fun! Definitely has become such a great friend.
Her family is so fun and sweet. Here is one favorite, I'll share more this week!

Andre and Carrie - The Wedding

Here are some from a fun and fabulous wedding I shot in Park City. It ended up being quite rainy and windy, but that didn't stop them from making the whole event a party from start to finish!
I just love these two, and wish them the very best as newlyweds!!





Carrie and Andre met at this little pub on Main Street, so after the ceremony the whole wedding party hopped in a shuttle and stopped in for a quick visit before heading to their reception. The whole place was cheering for them!! So cute!









They also had two bands playing off and on throughout the whole night, which were PHENOMINAL!! Everyone was up and dancing and mingling.
